Prepares daily and weekly progress status report for piping related activities such as; welding progress, spool and support status as per sub-system, hydro test status, etc.

Monitor subcontractor’s construction activities and maintain quality of work in accordance with the specifications and standards.

Monitor daily production progress and provides subcontractor’s technical guidance intended for piping work execution, and recommends alternative methods for work to expedite schedule.

Responsible for the modification of spools as per actual site condition and make As-Built drawings.

Review & check subcontractors drawing such as Hydro Test Package drawings and As-built drawings.

Conducts actual field inspection and prepares Site Technical Queries.

Supervise & witnesses daily inspection related to piping works together with QC inspector and Client.

Involved in Line Checking, Punch Listing and Punch Clearing of Test Packages.

Conducts subsystem / MC Walkdown with clients.

Clearing of Subsystem / MC Punch List and coordinates with STO (System Turnover Team)

Check and responds to client’s correspondence concerning site irregularities.

Review & check quantity of Monthly Invoice / Billing for piping works submitted by the subcontractor.

Actively involved in other related activities using Piping Integrated Control System (PICS), Welding Inspection & Testing System (WIT), C-SPACE, D-SPACE, NAS, HCQM system, HPCM system, Site Space, H-SPOOL, AutoCAD, Smart Plant Review (SPR) and Navisworks3D Model.

Utilizes Hyundai Engineering Softwares including H-Spool, PICS (Piping Integrated Control Systems), HCQM.

Updates Daily Reports from site to Master Weld Log Data, Support Data, Piping Spools Fabrication and Painting.

Attend weekly meeting and monthly analysis works progress

Responsible for Receiving, Verification & Distribution of all Piping related drawings (Isometrics, P&ID’s, GAD, Plan Drawings, Key Plans, Etc.)

Weld Mapping of Piping Isometric Drawings (pipe welds, support welds, bolting joints, spool numbers)

Prepares and revises all Piping Isometric drawings as per requirement using Autocad Softwares, PDF Editor, etc.

Preparation of Piping Isometrics with available materials prior to Company approval.

Site visitation for verification of modified Pipe Lines

· Responsible in studying and understanding the blueprints of designs prepared by planners.

· Supervise & ensures that installation works properly.

Responsible in planning and scheduling the work within the given deadlines.

Ensures the efficiency of the piping system that if it is working properly.

Responsible for ensuring the job progresses as per schedule timely.

Interacts with the planners to discuss plans and clarify installation process as well.

Travels to the place of work.

Ensures the safety measures and procedures at the work place and implements them.

Prepares the estimates of the piping work.

Prepares the documents at the various stages of development of the project.

Make regular presentations regarding the progress of work.

· Provides training to the junior engineer.

· Make recommendations to Quality Team Leader for the employment or termination of quality control inspectors.

· Issue nonconformance reports to vendors, construction contractors while performance of quality control inspections or quality audits.

· Perform quality control assessments of fabrication works at Vendor’s premises or construction sites.

· Make recommendations and inform all parties of the quality requirements at construction meetings and kick-off meetings.

Test Package Preparation / Punch List Data Monitoring Support

· Verifies Isometric Drawings with respect to the P & ID’s.

· Reviewing the approved quality plans, manuals and scope of work to perform the required inspection.

· Witnessing the Hydro testing of the pipe lines, drums and vessels.

· Prepare hydro test packages, line check and punch listing.

· Control of non-conformities issuance of punch list.

· Coordinating with client/consultants while the inspection is being carried out and offer any clarification if required.

· Witnessing of pneumatic test, hydro-test, and flushing; system lay-up both in and in erection field.

· Preparing and maintaining various QA/QC documents and final test packages.

· Witness of alignment, orientation and dimensions of installed piping.

· Assures that all joints are exposed for examination during pressure test.

· Ensuring vents are open when filling and draining lines.

· Conform repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with specifications.

· Making a re-instatement punch list and clearing the items.

· Witnessing of Flange joint assembly and bolt torque.

· Ensure the blinds are removed and correct rating gaskets are installed.

· Inspection of gaskets, supports, valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per the latest drawing for construction, codes and specification standards.

· Prepared documents, procedures for inspection method, inspection and testing plan in computerized environment.

· Supervised 9 teams of Pipe workers (pipe fitters, helpers and welders) involved in the montage of equipment and erection activities for all pipelines and technological routes

· Coordinate work teams directly in order to maintain high standards of performance, quality and safety

· Checking all Isometric drawing and GA Piping / field installation and establish the necessary logistics

· Attend weekly meeting and monthly analysis works progress.

· Motivate workers to attain the production schedules.

· Monitoring progress and distribution of daily tasks, necessary tools and materials needed, with particular emphasis on compliance with specific safety rules and quality standards, ensuring the necessary logistics for each team of work.

· Highlighting and solving of any technical or organizational problems at the team level in terms of location and setting priorities in the works execution under direct supervision of the site manager.

· Checking the piping field installation to ensure that quality of materials used and workmanship are according to drawing specification.

· Conducting visual inspections and dimensional measurements for marking, cutting, welding and positioning for all piping spools, according to the quality of materials before assembly and erection.

· Checking the all pre-fabricated pipe spools, as dimension and quality so that they comply with isometric drawings as well as with the actual situation on site to meet the specific requirements of the project and beneficiary.

· Take decision necessary to ensure quality of execution and record of documents. Supervise for proper installation of piping, using the specified types of supports.

· Modify the prefabricated spools, when necessary, based on isometric drawings, technical specification and as build situation.

· Assign on fabrication and erection of pipes per teams and choosing the optimal location per specified coordinates.

· Providing technical assistance for ongoing work at all subordinate teams.

· - Inspection of materials and equipment received before use so that they coincide with the technical documentation as quality and quantity.

· Perform the final check of all completed pipeline routs (quality, dimensions, components, etc.) before carry out test pack.

· Work and supervise all workers from fabrication shop and erection site area.

· Maintain good coordination and cooperation to all senior staff preferably to supervisor in-charge regarding all scope of works and all target schedule.

· Review and study drawings before of final distribution to all workers to avoid any mistakes on the works to be done.

· Conduct daily tool box meeting regarding daily work schedule and including all safety precaution.

· . Inter-connection of various process piping to Vessels, Columns, Pumps and Package Boiler.

· Execution of hydro test and pneumatic test of process piping including spherical tank farm area.

· Provide lay-out and isometric drawing for the fabrication and installation.

· Check all materials/items to be installed in accordance to the Bill of Materials of the isometric drawings to be use.

· Making of (RFI) Request for Inspection form to be submitted to QA/QC personnel after of checking and review all fit-up spools.

· Having the responsibility for the erection and installation of various process piping in the main pipe rack.

· Monitor all daily ongoing activities considering safety of every worker.
