Veerasin Uaypornchaisakul

During my internship, I was assigned to both a regional hospital and a community hospital, where I had the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives for the care of patients with non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, chronic kidney disease, and COPD. Additionally, I actively participated in several academic conferences in internal medicine, such as:

I am currently stationed at a provincial hospital in Phitsanulok, which functions as both a general hospital and a teaching facility. My responsibilities include providing care in internal medicine and participating in the education of medical students.

• Before graduated, awarded for the highest-scoring research presentation among internal medicine residents, with a study focused on vascular complications in patients with NAFLD and diabetes at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
• During the past two years, I have been honored to serve as a lecturer on various topics, including common internal medicine disease and cardiovascular emergencies as part of the clinical teaching program for medical students.
• Responsible for structuring and coordinating the referral process for STEMI patients, ensuring timely transfer from community hospitals to Buddhachinaraj Hospital for primary PCI.
• Voted as the Outstanding Young Medical Educator by residents and medical students at Buddhachinaraj Hospital for outstanding contributions to clinical teaching.
• Proctor for the Thai National Medical Licensing Examination at Buddhachinaraj Hospital in 2022-2024.
• Acted as the lead organizer and chairperson for an ACLS knowledge update workshop, providing training for medical personnel and students held at Buddhachinaraj Hospital in 2023.
• Honored with the 'Beloved Colleague Award' by the medical organization in 2024, recognized as 'The Doctor Everyone Feels Comfortable Working With.
• Initiated and organized a Clinical Pathology Conference to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration between pathologist internist and internal medicine specialists.

• Appointed Chief Fellow in the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Siriraj Hospital.
• Participant in the 1st CIAT Quarterly Scientific Meeting 2025, hosted by the Cardiovascular Intervention Association of Thailand.
• Participated in 'Rendezvous,' a quarterly case discussion conference hosted by the Cardiovascular Intervention Association of Thailand.
• Participant in the Mahidol TAVI 2022 Conference, an annual transcatheter valve intervention forum that brought together leading international experts such as Dr. Aksoy Olcay and Dr. Philippe Pibarot enhancing knowledge in structural heart interventions and transcatheter aortic valve implantation.
• Participated in the lecture 'All You Need to Know About Pulmonary Balloon Angioplasty for CTEPH' by Prof. Hiroto Shimokawahara, Cardiologist from Okayama Medical Center, Japan.
• Participated in SICC 2025 (Siriraj International Cardiovascular Conference) under the theme 'Revolutionizing Cardiology with Emerging Innovation and Intelligence.
• Attended the 26th Chiang Mai Cardiology Conference (CMCC), the annual academic meeting hosted by Chiang Mai University, under the theme 'Synopsis of Cardiovascular Medicine.
