● Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
● Create Sales Plans as a merchandiser to assume a strategic role, examining sales and profit data to discover customer preferences
● Oversee product procurement to identify new products that would appeal to the company's domestic and international target customers
● Inspect the condition of goods before receiving them at the warehouse
● Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
● Monitor the competitive landscape in order to revise marketing data in the market and formulate a product pricing plan
● Develop product content and supply marketing department with information
● Coordinate numerous tasks within the business to assist the Marketing Department, Customer Service, and Warehouse with efficiency and effectiveness
● Create layout plans for both individual shelves and the entire space, with the objective of maximizing product appeal
● Prepare product knowledge and present the sales department with the new product, promotion, and sales approach
● Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and market insight in order to develop potential products that meet their demands
● Source product from international and domestic event trade, and select and develop the products that satisfy market requirements
● Manage and supervise the kitchenware, tableware, bathroom, carpet, towel, and cleaning goods inventory
● Test new items, conduct usability testing, and examine some product packaging
● Compare our goods to those of our competitors, prepare documentation and verify product specifications
