My name is Stella-Mari Pietersen, everyone calls me Stella. I am a 31 year old female from South Africa. I studied Health and Human Sciences - I have my degree in Psychology. I was living and working in Thailand as a certified ESL teacher for nearly 5 years, before the Covid pandemic. I then decided to move back to my home country in 2021, where I worked as an online teacher and a private tutor for 2 years. In 2023 I relocated back to Thailand and resumed my teaching career. I intend to obtain my Post Graduate Certificate in Education within the next 2 years.
I'm an experienced teacher with a passion for teaching; I use this passion to teach students to the best of my ability. I have good presentation and communication skills that ensure students learn the material presented as well as they can. I am motivated to teach English and fully utilize my communication and teaching skills, which I have also learned to combine with my Psychological skills for even better results.
