Muay Thai is the national sport of thailand, though i have been living in thailand for a long time, i only recently started learning and practicing muay thai, i never been much of a sports person but combat sports brings a different element out of people. 

Discipline and dedication is the first thing required for the sport but you can also have a fun time with your teachers and fellow practitioners while learning about muay thai. I love kicking and punching the pads to release tension and stress which always alleviates the work life balance of my life. Sparring is a completely different field where you can become really close to the people your working with and Im glad to have joined a gym with fantastic muay thai fighters. 

It brings out a different side of me and makes me realize how much I have been missing out by not engaging in this beautiful and powerful sport. I hope to continue learning the sport and possibly fight in various fights in thailand.
