Lagardere is a diversified French media company that
owns the fashion brand ELLE. The company operates
4 fashion-based businesses in more than 80 countries
worldwide.
Responsibilities: of General Manager for SE Asia
• Managing US $60M licensing business in 9 markets
and 4 business categories for ELLE in SE Asia.
• Expansion of the ELLE brand into new market
segments.
• Identify new licensees and expand business potential of existing business partners
• Negotiate licensing agreements, manage licensee
performance, conduct performance reviews and
ensure licensee compliance.
• Forecast and manage yearly budgets for each
licensee
• Manage the P/L’s of all businesses in the territory
and ensure licensees achieve budget targets
• Manage the marketing and product development
team for SE Asia
• Provide advertising, event, POS animation and initiative campaign to support the licensee
• Ensure compliance with ELLE brand standards
across all segments and within all territories
Luxasia (Siam) is a subsidiary company of Luxasia Ltd., a privately held luxury goods distributor based in Singapore with 10 offices
throughout Asia.
Responsibilities as Division General Manager:
• Key business liaison for multinational brand owners (principals)
Proctor and Gamble, PUIG Group, USA Inter Parfums, Albion and La Prairie
• P/L responsibility for 15 skin care, make up and fragrance brands
(Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Escada, Paco Rabanne, Nina Ricci, Prada, Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Ferragamo.)
• Managed a team of 1 senior brand manager, 5 brand managers, 3 marketing executives, 1 senior sales manager 6 sales managers, and 2 trainers.
• Developed and execute marketing plans for 12 brands representing over US$8M in sales
