Internal Audit

• Performed internal audit assignments for 9 companies of Furukawa Group in Thailand, including of planning, communication with auditees, preparing audit reports, and reporting it to management.
• Conducted follow-up assessments to ensure whether prior recommendations have been adequately and sufficiently implemented.
• Provided advice to auditees on request, such as how to implement audit recommendations and providing templates or policies from other affiliated companies.
• Provided the global guidelines of accounting, tax, and finance to subsidiaries in line with the parent company and supported all affiliated companies to comply with those guidelines.

Compliance

• Developed policies, procedures, and regulations such as PDPA, gift and anti-bribery policy, whistleblowing, boards meeting rules, etc., ensuring those policies, procedures, and regulations were efficiently integrated into the parent company’s code of conduct.
• Developed and implemented appropriate compliance training for all employees.
• Streamlined the internal audit process, identifying, and mitigating risk key compliance areas.
• Provided advice to the company and affiliated companies about the internal compliance program (ICP), WMD or DUI for effective export controls.
• Provided general support and handled ad-hoc assignments, such as assisting with the dangerous goods licensing procedure, advising and supporting HR tasks, etc.

Legal

• Provided legal advice, primarily in labor law, private international law (conflict of laws), PDPA, and other corporate laws.
• Drafted and reviewed contracts such as employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDA), sales agreements, lease agreements, etc.
• Translated legal documents such as annual general meeting of shareholders, company regulations, etc.
