- investigation of the required EV parts localization

- cooperation with local universities by exchanging knowledge about EV parts/research data

- Performing different tasks as a buyer:

- Conducting Eligible Short Visit audits

- Vendor management & Contract management

- RFQ

- Price negotiations

- Participating in VDA6.3 audits

- Coordination of cross-functional team responsible for implementing new Localization scope:

- Project Timeline development and regular tracking of progress

- Leading Project team meetings internally and with suppliers

- Coordination of additional projects not directly related to Procurement

- Arranging events with Suppliers, Universities, Authorities

- Representing the company at Exhibitions, Seminars

- Development of Localization process for the new Mercedes-Benz plant in Russia
- Local market research and supplier-set definition
- Feasibility study or potential localization projects
- Upfront planning and coordination of localization projects
- Gathering, processing and alignment of technical and project data for RFQ
- Project timeline development and its alignment with local cross-functional team and with the HQs

- Regular cross-functional communication with colleagues in Russia and Europe
- Tracking of Project timelines
- Regular project communication internally and with suppliers
- Preparation of meeting minutes, presentations and problem sheets
- Technical evaluation of Change Requests in terms of approval process requirements
- Gathering and processing of technical & project data
- Key-User of internal technical systems

- Maintaining Manager's calendar
