• Drive fabric development process in partnership with Design and Product development team to adhere to time and action calendar.
• Work closely with the VP of sourcing to identify strategic vendor base to develop and produce fabrics that meet brand quality standards.
• Source and counter source fabrics, trims based on pricing, content and timing parameters. 
• Maintain vendor relationship with ongoing communication and support on-boarding of new vendors into the matrix.
• Collaborate with the product compliance team to make sure all CPSC requirements are fulfilled. 
• Review mill and factory work in process reports to maintain production schedules and delivery.
• Trouble shoot with production coordinators to resolve production issues to achieve timely shipment of quality goods. 
• Build and update fabric and mill database per season through Bluecherry PLM.
• Visit fabric and trade shows for trend research and development.

• Managed private label production for Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Babies R Us, Costco USA from piece goods to final garment stage.
• Worked closely with nominated labs BV, CTL to follow up on all testing and inspection. 
• Created and maintained purchase order details in Bluecherry PLM system.
• Communicated packaging, labeling and ticketing requirements by customer to the vendors.
• Reviewed all fit, pre-production and TOP samples with design and spec team.
• Monitored work in process reports of factories for timely delivery of orders.
• Worked closely with head of operations to resolve garment production issues.

•  Key interface between fabric R&D and production team to manage the pre-production approval process.
• Assisted designers for approval on lab dip, strike off and bulk submits.

• Worked closely on tech packs, prototype, pre-production and TOP samples.
• Worked with traffic department for approval on shipment for timely delivery of orders.

• Assisted Professor Rosenau on analysis of the retailers and manufacturers survey as a contribution towards the book- Apparel merchandising: The line starts here.
• Lab instructor for ABS, PLM software for freshman and sophomore fashion merchandising students.
