-Lead the development of the country strategy for Vietnam in consultation with the Tara programme directors and partners.
-Lead the development of an ecosystem of a diversified partners in Vietnam to contribute to the energy transition in the country
-Lead coordination among partners within the country to ensure Tara achieves outcomes that are larger than the sum of the individual partners’ efforts.
-Lead the coordination with other Tara counterparts in the region to ensure coordination of efforts within the region.
-Lead the grant management of a porfolio of 2.7 million USD with more than 20 partners

  • Driving regional and inter-regional sustainable policy dialogues: through the Strategic Collaboration Fund funded by SIDA, worked closely with partners - CSOs, government organizations and private sector across the region to drive multi-stakeholder policy engagement and dialogues on critical sustainability issues in the region and inter regions (Europe and Asia).
  • Laos's Green and Sustainable Agriculture Framework: Worked closely with Laos Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to develop the Green and Sustainable Agriculture Strategic Framework; organized regional consultation policy dialogues with key regional stakeholders on the Framework.
  • Framework for ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Strategy and Action Plan (2021-2025): Contributed to and reviewed the framework; consulted with national stakeholders on the framework and its implementation.

  • Drivers and Barriers to Circular Economy in Southeast Asia: Conducted research and authored working paper on drivers and barriers for enterprises in Southeast Asia to transition to the circular economy. In partnership with SEED Thailand Policy Lab, organized consultation workshops with key decision makers and businesses in Thailand and Indonesia on drivers and barriers for a transition to circular economy.
  • Led proposal development and secured funding for projects with SIDA on data and gender inequality in education in Vietnam and ACIAR on building capacity for policy advocacy for researchers in Mekong region.

  • Played a leading role in the implementation of research activities and stakeholder engagement for CREST - a regional project on corporate responsibility in eliminating slavery and trafficking
  • Led the joint collaboration with Fair Labour Association and brands (Adidas, Puma, New Balance) to implement the research on Vietnam natural rubber supply chain. 
  • Authored the policy brief on international migration labour and gender inequality.

Oxfam Asia Pacific (Based in Phnom Penh - Cambodia)

  • Managed and led the Policy Component of Oxfam’s Inclusion Project – a AUD$6 million project funded by DFAT aimed at improving transboundary water governance in Mekong  river basin affecting 60 million people.
  • Led policy analysis, policy dialogues and multi-stakeholder engagement on transboundary water governance at national and regional levels. Highlights: 
  • Successfully coordinated the design and implementation of a regional policy engagement agenda with 35 partners and Oxfam national offices in 5 countries in Mekong region.
  • Took a lead role in working closely with regional and national stakeholders to advocate for transboundary water governance and impacts on the Mekong Delta, including working with Mekong River Commission, National Mekong Committees of Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia.
  • Managed partnership with local and regional policy partners across Mekong region to ensure effective project implementation and financial management. Took a lead role in building the strategy to engage policy partners in regional policy dialogues and the implementation of an agreed common regional policy advocacy agenda.
  • Worked closely with donor to engage in project implementation, contributing to proposal development and reporting to donor as a component lead.

  • Managed two projects funded by ICCO and Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung focusing on evidence-based research and policy advocacy, natural resources management. Highlights:
  • Collaborated closely with diverse stakeholders including civil society, local communities, governmental organizations and private sector to ensure the project outcomes. Organized +10 policy dialogues and multi-stakeholder forums for local communities, local authorities and private companies on the issue of land and water governance, gender inequality in Central Vietnam and wider national/regional context.
  • Worked closely with donors to engage in project implementation, led reporting to donor and development of proposal for second phases. Secured funding for the second phase of the projects with a broader geographical scope.
