Work History

Head of Secondary School, Director of Innovation

WeLearn Academy
08.2025 - Current
  • As Head of Secondary School and Director of Innovation at WeLearn Academy Bangkok, I lead transformative learning experiences that prepare students for a rapidly evolving world. My role bridges academic leadership with innovation strategy, overseeing curriculum development, operational excellence and the integration of cutting-edge educational practices across both primary and secondary levels.
  • With a passion for learner-centered design, I collaborate with educators, parents and global partners to create future-ready pathways that empower students to thrive. Whether it's reimagining project-based learning, embedding entrepreneurial thinking or scaling digital fluency, I'm committed to shaping education that's bold, relevant and deeply human.

Innovation Lead & Edtech Integration

TIS Macau
08.2023 - 07.2025
  • At TIS Macao, I co-created projects that deliver specific outcomes by integrating STEAM and Design Thinking concepts through the lens of project based learning, promoting a holistic approach to the students’ skill acquisition by engaging students through interdisciplinary learning, using a blend of traditional techniques with the latest in cutting edge and traditional technologies.
  • Through this collaboration teachers are able to integrate technology into their lesson delivery and curricula outcomes. These projects were delivered in a custom made Innovation Lab, equipped with the latest in hardware and software that encompasses technology ranging from Design Technology & Resistant Materials workshop tools, machines and materials to 3d printers, CNC and laser cutters to the latest in Augmented Reality headsets, Vex Robotics and Lego Mindstorms.
  • Successfully developed and deployed a series of ambitious projects across the school that ranges from architectural models, life sized cardboard animal sculptures, to Arduino driven exoplanetary models and a student led community roof garden design project.

Whole School STEAM & Global Campus Coordinator, Teacher of Technology, Year 8 Form Tutor

St Andrews International School Bangkok
08.2020 - 07.2023
  • Responsible for promoting and delivering STEAM challenges across the high school as well liaising with the Primary STEAM Lead to ensure the delivery and success of the STEAM & Global Campus programme. In order to ensure the success of this programme I worked with Heads of Faculty, Heads of Year and Key Stage Leaders and delivered year group assemblies to ensure the maximum possible uptake within the student body. As part of my STEAM role, I contributed to regional meetings across SE ASIA hosted by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and UNICEF on a regular basis. To provide a space and place for students for whole school STEAM activities, a Global STEAM club was launched that met on a weekly basis, held in the school library, linked to global goals and the UN SDGs.
  • As a classroom teacher I delivered Technology through a Project Based Learning (PBL) approach, where students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects. I aim to develop projects which emulate the real-life working environments, which allow students to find creative approaches to solving problems, and strengthen their creative skills. Through this approach, students can nurture creativity, build their resilience and confidence to fail, succeed, fail and succeed again. Over this time I expanded my skills set to deliver projects using Arduino, programmable robotics and coding using VexIQ, advanced 3d modelling, 3d printing and laser cutting. I am now fully qualified as a Design Technology teacher to the latest UK standards.
