Charles Christopher Mangum

• Developed and taught innovative English language teacher education curriculum to over 400 students at one of Thailand's top universities; advised post-graduate and faculty research projects; taught educational philosophical foundations and STEM pedagogy courses; created and hosted the CMU EduCast, and served as a liaison to the Western academic world for the CMU Faculty of Education.

Wrote and produced original national radio and podcast programming for American broadcast legend and CBS Sunday Morning host Charles Osgood, with an audience of over four million weekly listeners.

• Pioneered new programs in New York City's largest urban charter school as Lead Teacher for both Science and Career & Tech departments. Taught digital music production, physics, and college credit-bearing engineering courses. School leadership roles included teacher coaching & mentoring; teacher evaluations; hiring and onboarding, and program budgeting.
• Served as school robotics coach and on District/Charter Collaboration and School Leadership Committees.

• Instrumental in building one of New York's premier public high schools for gifted and talented students in the arts and sciences.
• Managed a staff of 11 part-time teachers.
• Courses taught: Advanced Placement Music Theory, Project Lead the Way: Introduction to Engineering Design, Digital Music Production, Music History, Film Post-Production and Editing, Ear Training and Composition.
• Developed interdisciplinary curricula for STEAM education: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
• Helped raise $1.5 million for the school campaign. Enlisted celebrity support and produced fundraising events and videos.

• Taught graduate-level course, MUED 518: Technology for music teachers.

• Principal creative for Washington D.C.'s largest post-production facility and production group.
• Clients included Discovery Communications, National Geographic, PBS, BBC America., Zeitgeist Films.
