Thesis Project: Selection of lactic acid bacteria probiotics from Thai-chick and their efficacy in restoring gut microbiome and Salmonella reduction in broiler challenged with Salmonella Typhimurium.

Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuvee Prapasarakul

  • Highlighted lactic acid bacteria sourced from Thai chickens exhibit probiotic characteristics that show potential to diminish Salmonella shedding, enhance growth performance, and modify the gut microbiome, thereby improving the health of chicks infected with Salmonella Typhimurium.
