Artyom Poghosyan

I have been an intern in ISSD NGO, which is an environmental NGO in RA. I was given the responsibility to start research for a planned project related to Food Banks in Armenia. I was supposed to

• Do the research,
• Find foreign successful examples,
• Possible ways to bring the prject to life and
• Find ways to encourage businesses and the government to agree to complete the project.

I developed skills such as research, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication. Also learned more about environmental monitoring, environmental legislation, and about environmental policies of other countries.

Spending a week as an intern at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, I visited 3 different departments.

• Department of International Cooperation, where I learned about foreign policies of RA.
• Department of Revenue Policy.
• Department of Macroeconomic Policy

I learned skills such as research, foreign policies, diplomatic communication, fiscal policy analysis, macroeconomic forecasting, economic modeling, data analysis, and various other skills.

Assisting with management of multiple events, including 'Cooperation for Happy Childhood' and 'Days of Lyceum'.

Helping school staff in installation of various functions on computers for students.

Helping and organizing celebration of Children's Day in the school of village Tsaghkunk, where students were studying about sustainability and environment through playing games, listening to stories, and creating.

I have volunteered in the Embassy for multiple occasions. Some of them are related to assisting with management of different events, such as King's Day, cultural events, etc. Also, I have been entrusted to translate movie from English to Armenian in April 2024.
