Medical Equipment Service Engineer
On-site survey and installation: Conduct on-site surveys and assessments to install medical equipment and systems such as CR, DR, X-ray, PACS, DICOM, PM, and Network systems according to specified standards.
Troubleshooting and maintenance: Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and repair equipment or perform scheduled maintenance as required.
Equipment readiness checks: Verify that installed equipment is in optimal working condition and ready for use.
Reporting: Prepare reports on equipment repairs and job completion or delivery.
Remote support: Provide remote troubleshooting and technical assistance upon request.
Other duties: Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
POS System: Working with Point of Sale (POS) systems. This includes setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Servers: Handling server systems. This could involve installation, configuration, and management of servers that run store operations.
Scales: Working with digital scales, likely for fresh food departments. This includes installation and ensuring they are properly connected to the POS and inventory systems.
HDD (Hard Disk Drive): Handling hard drives, which are used for data storage on servers, PCs, and CCTV systems.
CCTV: Working with Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, which are used for surveillance.
Switches: Managing network switches to ensure connectivity for all devices within the store.
Network Systems: Overall management and configuration of the store's computer network.
Primary Work Focus:
New Store Openings: The main task is to set up all of these systems (POS, servers, network, etc.) for new Lotus's store branches.
Store Closures: When a branch closes, the job involves decommissioning the equipment, collecting all the devices, and returning them. The person is responsible for checking that everything is accounted for and in good condition.
Other Assigned Tasks: The individual also performs other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
